Unlock and reset your password by using Republic Bank's Login Assistance on the mobile banking app. We'll text or call you with a temporary password to the phone number associated with your Online & Mobile Banking* account.
Be sure to review what makes a strong password to help you keep your account safe before you get started.
1. On the Republic Bank app, select Login Assistance below the Username & Password field.
2. On the Forgot Login page, simply type in your phone number and username connected to your Online & Mobile Banking account, and select "Send Me a New Password."
If you do know your username, select the Forgot Username link on the bottom.
We will send you a password via text from short code 448-33 if your mobile phone number is enabled for text in Online & Mobile Banking Security Options. If it's not enabled for text, the system will call you with an automated temporary password from 888-782-3333. The temporary password will expire after 30 minutes.
3. Enter the temporary password and select "Confirm".
4. If the temporary password is entered correctly, you will need to type in or copy the temporary password again, and then enter your NEW password and retype it to confirm. There is an option to view the letters and characters you're typing in by selecting the "eye" icon next to your password. "Passwords Must Match" will light up in green when your new Password matches the Retyped Password.
Select "Change" to proceed with logging in.
