Please note that if you are having issues with your Online & Mobile Banking password, deleting your Online & Mobile Banking account will NOT reset your password. Please use the “Login Assistance” or “Forgot Login” link instead.


If you wish to delete your Online & Mobile Banking account, please contact us at 888-782-3333, chat with us during business hours, or submit a secure message in Easy Support. The Digital Experience Team will assist you and confirm your Online & Mobile Banking account deletion request. Once we’ve confirmed that this is a valid request made by you, we will initiate the deletion process for you.


Upon fulfilling this request, Republic Bank will delete all associated data held in our Online & Mobile Banking platform. This data will no longer be accessible or available to any party as outlined in the Online & Mobile Banking End User Agreement. Your account(s) at Republic Bank will remain active, and your account transaction history will remain in Republic Bank’s records as long as your accounts are open, but all Online & Mobile Banking data will be deleted. This means that you will no longer be able to access your accounts at Republic Bank by logging in online at RepublicBank.com or by accessing the Republic Bank Mobile Banking app with your Online & Mobile Banking username and password.


A confirmation email will be sent to you at the completion of your Online & Mobile Banking account deletion request.


Please Note After You Delete Your Online & Mobile Banking Account

  • You will no longer be able to log in online at RepublicBank.com or by accessing the Republic Bank Mobile Banking app with your Online & Mobile Banking username and password.

 

  • You will not be able to view, download, or print electronic copies of past account statements and documents. Online & Mobile Banking enrollment automatically opts you in to receive free electronic statements and documents. Deleting your Online & Mobile Banking account will adjust your statement delivery preferences and tax documents to paper/mail delivery. Please refer to your Account Rules Packet and other Important Disclosures for paper statement fees. We recommend that you download and/or print your electronic Statements & Documents so that you have a record of your transaction history.

 

  • Any activity you previously set up online or in the Republic Bank mobile app will be disabled and deleted. This includes account and card alerts*, Bill Pay payments and payee information, External Transfers between your Republic and outside accounts, scheduled or recurring transfers between Republic accounts, Money Management activity and data, your Credit Score powered by SavvyMoney credit report and monitoring alerts, and access to add offers or receive Purchase Reward cashback, as well as the ability to self-manage your account using online forms such as to update your contact details or to dispute a transaction electronic form. You will have to contact us by phone or chat with us during business hours to manage your account should you need assistance. We can review specific impacts to you based on the features you use at the time of your request.

 

  • Your Republic Bank account(s) will remain open and unaffected. Submitting an account deletion request will only delete your Online & Mobile Banking account.

 

 

Submit a Secure Message to Delete Your Online & Mobile Banking Account

  1. Select “Connect” in the Republic Bank Mobile Banking app or click here to access Easy Support.
  2. Select “+New Message”
  3.  Title your message “Delete My Account”
  4. In the message state that you wish to delete your Online & Mobile Banking account (i.e. “Please delete my Online & Mobile Banking account”).
  5. Add an email address to your message to receive a confirmation email for your account deletion request.
  6. Submit your message and the Digital Experience Team will review specific impacts based on the Online & Mobile Banking features you use and confirm your request during business hours.
