What operating system is on my device?


To find out which Apple operating system is on your device: 

  1. Open your device’s Settings app.
  2. Tap ‘General’, then tap ‘About’ to display your device’s current operating system next to ‘iOS Version’.

To find out which Android operating system is on your device: 

  1. Open your device’s Settings app.
  2. Tap ‘About Phone’ or ‘About Device’.
  3. Tap ‘Android Version’ to display your device’s current operating system.

 

How do I update my device’s operating system if my current operating system does not meet the requirements to use the Republic Bank Mobile app?


To update your Apple device:

  1. Open your device’s Settings app.
  2. Tap ‘General’, then tap ‘About’.
  3. Tap ‘Software Update’ to download and install an update if an update is available.

To update your Android device: 

  1. Open your device’s Settings app.
  2. Tap ‘System’, and then tap ‘System Updates’.
  3. Tap ‘Download and Install’ if an update is available.
