You can dispute a debit card transaction in the Republic Bank Mobile App. Log into the app and select Services on the bottom app menu, then select "Self-Service Center." From the Republic Bank Self-Service Center landing page, select "Dispute a Transaction."



Before you get started, be sure to click here review the “Before You Get Started” tips for a successful dispute experience.



STEP 1: SELECT ACCOUNT

 

After you have reviewed what you need and you have those items handy, tap and scroll to the bottom of the form to select the applicable account for your dispute. Select “Continue”.




STEP 2: SELECT TRANSACTION

 

Tap the From date to select the date on which the transaction was posted to your account. You can search as far back as 6 months.

 

Tap the day and then select Done to view your posted transactions. When you find the debit card transaction you wish to dispute, select the + call to action on the right side of the transaction description. 

 

Selecting the + call to action will highlight blue and will automatically navigate you to Step 3 in the dispute process.




STEP 3: ENTER DISPUTE DETAILS

 

In the drop-down menu, you will need to then select the reason for this dispute.




Select the option which best describes the problem with the transaction you have selected, fill in additional details based on your response, and select “Continue” to summarize and upload supporting documentation.



STEP 4: REVIEW AND SUMMARIZE

 

 Review your disputed transaction(s) and the details you entered. Add more transactions if you wish to dispute those by selecting the plus “+Add Transaction” option on the bottom. Select “Continue” to summarize and add supporting documentation to your dispute.

 

Select “Submit Dispute”.



STEP 5: CONFIRMATION

 

 You will receive a case number with a successful file of your dispute along with your case timeline of when you should expect your case to be resolved. Keep this case number for your records.

 

You can print this page for your records by printing from your browser settings in the top right corner or screenshot the confirmation number if you are on a mobile device.
