Account Alerts & Notifications are a great way to stay on top of important things happening to your account at Republic Bank. You can turn on the notifications that matter most to you and personalize them to meet your needs.


1. NAVIGATION & TERMS


 To sign up for Account Alerts & Notifications, you will need to log into online banking or the Republic Bank Mobile app* and select Services, "Account Alerts & Notifications"


Review and accept the Account Alerts & Notifications terms and conditions. 


You will then receive a "welcome" page and you're ready to set your notification settings and alert types.


2. MANAGING YOUR NOTIFICATION SETTINGS


How do you want to receive alerts about your account? You can select to receive notifications to your phone as a text message or to your email.


To manage your notification settings, select "Notification Settings" on the Account Alerts & Notification home page.


Activate Your Mobile Number for Text


Select "+ Add" next to "Send text Notifications to", enter your phone number with the area code, and select "Next".


An activation code will be sent to you by text message from short-code 41952. Enter the activation code sent and select "Activate". An "Activated" badge will display next to your new activated phone number. Select "Close" to return to the Notification Settings page. 




Add Your Email Contact


If you need to edit or add a new email address, you will need to activate your email address under "Send email Notifications to". Select "+ Add" to add or edit your email address. 


An activation code will be sent to you by email from alerts@republicbank.com. Enter the activation code sent and select "Activate". An "Activated" badge will display next to your new activated email contact. Select "Close" to return to the Notification Settings page.


To set up your Account Notifications types, select the grey back button on the left of the Notifications Settings header.



3. SET YOUR NOTIFICATION TYPES


On the Notifications home page, you will see Balance, Loans, Other, Transaction, Transfers, Profile Broadcast, and Scheduled alert types you can personalize according to your account needs. 


Simply tap the alert to personalize the alert type for each of your accounts at Republic. Enter in your amount threshold you need for your account, select how you would like to be notified - text, email, or both. Don't for get to turn on the alert for your accounts by selecting the toggle on the right side of the accounts you wish to know about when things happen, and then select "Add".



Now you can stay on top of your finances because you'll know when important things happen to your account!
