Financial institutions across the country have seen an increase in fraudulent charges to customer accounts through Debit Cards and Credit Cards. While customers are not responsible for unauthorized transactions when the bank is made aware of activity promptly, these charges do create serious concern for customers about the security of their accounts.

Mastercard Secure Code
MasterCard SecureCode enhances your current Republic Bank Credit Card account to protect against unauthorized use of your Republic Bank Credit Card when you shop at participating merchants. Your card is registered with this additional protection at the time of opening.
One-Time Passcode
Republic Bank may use a One-Time Passcode to verify your identity as an added protection against online fraud. During online shopping when a transaction presented is considered high risk, you may be asked to authenticate using a one-time passcode. This one-time password will be sent to your mobile device.
Once received you will enter the code on the merchants website site in the "Enter One-Time Passcode" field. Once confirmed the transaction will be approved.
