1. Log into the Republic Bank Mobile Banking app.



 Select “Move Money” and then tap “Mobile Deposit*.”





2. Select the Deposit Account you wish to deposit your check into.


 





3. Tap "Take Photos"



4. Place the check face up on a flat, evenly lit, solid-colored surface: 

  •  Make sure that the check is made out to you.
  • Confirm that the written amount of the check matches its numerical value.
  • Verify that the check is signed and dated. We do not accept post-dated checks or checks with a date that is over 6 months old.


Select "Continue" after you have verified your check.



5. Align the front of your check to fit within the viewfinder. You do have options for auto-capture, manual, and flash to assist you with taking photos.



6. Capture an image of the front of your check using the Auto or Manual functions.


7. Review your check image and brighten the image of the check if needed. If the image is not sufficient to deposit, you can select the “trash can” icon to retake the photo. Tap “Continue” to take a photo of the back of your check.


8. Flip your check over to the back of your check and place the check face down on a flat, evenly lit, solid-colored surface.

  • Endorse the the back – sign your name on the back of the check
  • Neatly print the words “For Mobile Deposit” below your endorsement.


When you’ve completed your endorsement, select “Continue”.



9. Capture an image of the back of your check using the Auto or Manual functions.

10. Review your check image and brighten the image of the check if needed. If the image is not sufficient to deposit, you can select the “trash can” icon to retake the photo. Tap “Continue” to add another check deposit or submit your check deposit.



11. Optional: Tap “+Add Check” if you need to add another check deposit to the same deposit account. 


Tap “Submit” to receive your check deposit confirmation.




12. You'll receive a deposit reference number with an "Approved" or "Held for Review" confirmation.
