When you visit a website that requires you to sign in, Microsoft Edge will ask if you want your username and password remembered. The next time you visit the site, the browser will finish filling in your account info. You can choose whether Microsoft Edge saves passwords and you can also remove passwords you've already saved. To help you secure your account, we recommend that you do not save your Personal Online & Mobile* Banking password to your browser.
Save passwords in Edge
- Open Microsoft Edge.
- Select Settings and more (three dots) > Passwords.
- Turn Ask to save passwords and passkeys On.
Once enabled, Edge will prompt you to save a username and password when you sign in to a website for the first time. Saved passwords are stored in Microsoft Password Manager.
Forget (delete) saved passwords
- Open Microsoft Edge.
- Go to Settings and more > Settings > Privacy, search, and services.
- Under Clear browsing data, select Choose what to clear.
- Check Passwords.
- Select Clear now.
View, edit, or delete a specific saved password
- Open Edge.
- Select Settings > Passwords and autofill > Microsoft Password Manager.
- Select the website entry you want to manage.
- You can view, edit, or remove that password (you may be asked for your Windows PIN or device password).
